Grand Prix 2026/27

The Grand Prix is a winter running series held by Centurion RC. There are 5 races through from November to Easter. Registration opens at 10:15am. The 5 mile race starts at 11:00am.

  • 7th March 2027

Important point to note

  • Registration & race start are at earlier times
  • Registration will be at the Race HQ.
  • Results and Prize giving will be at Race HQ.
  • Toilet facilities will be available from 10:15m at Race HQ
  • Entry is limited (150 places)
  • ALL Online  Entries will close at 11pm on the Wednesday before race day
  • Numbers will be for the whole series (you use the same number for each race), replacement number will be charged at £2

Entry in advance is recommended, although on the day entries are usually available.

ALL Entries online will close at 11pm on the Wednesday before race day

Pricing 

  • Full Series - £50 Affiliated (£60 U/A)
  • Individual Race - £12 Affiliated (£15 U/A)
  • Extra £2 for on the day entries.

Event Details

  • UKA rules apply (permit applied for)
  • Runners in 5-mile race must be over 15 yrs.
  • Only UKA approved headsets can be worn
Facilities: Toilets, Hot drinks, Ample car parking. (no changing or showers this year)
Monthly Prizes: Overall Male (1st, 2nd & 3rd), Overall Female (1st, 2nd &3rd), age prizes (see below)
Age Prizes(5M): November, V60 December, v50 January, V40 February, V55 March, V35
Grand Prix Winners: Trophies awarded for best 4 races in 5 mile: Men - Women - Veteran Men & Women.
Special SERIES MEMENTOS: These will be presented to all participants, including helpers, taking part in 4 or more races at either distance (anyone who is injured or unfit, if you help at the event, this will count towards the series).
Run under UK Athletics rules; permit applied for. Minimum age on race day 15 years
